Matthew  Askland

Matt Askland has been in the mortgage business since March of 2000, originating in Nashville, TN. In Nashville he worked in a high refinance sales environment.  After succeeding well in this environment he was looking for a stronger industry knowledge base & new company philosophy that would benefit long term in this competitive, ever changing industry.  This search led Matt to Peoples Home Equity, Inc.  PHE had & still has a very unique philosophy that was built on building quality relationships within the industry and large focus on the purchase market.  Matt Askland has built many realtor referral partners based on this philosophy.  With a large network and experience in refinance and purchase environments it was a natural transition to bring PHE to the Southwest. 

Matt Askland was raised here in Arizona, predominately in Mesa and Chandler area.   It has been a great experience bringing PHE home for Matt and he's excited to continue our/his successes here.  He attended Dobson high school, continued his sports involvement and schooling to Scottsdale Community College and finished his education and degree at Arizona State University.  Matt finished his education and graduated in December of 1999 with a BA in Business and Economics.

Peoples Home Equity has been the vital component for Matt's success and our growth is eminent in the southwest and we are working towards those new and bigger goals.  The Financial, mortgage and banking industry today is very much in a state of confusion and adjustment.  PHE is positioned to remain stable and will be a company that will succeed through it all.
